It's hard to believe we are half way through February already.  Time flies when you are having fun.

I am so excited about all the wonderful things going on at Younique.  We have tons and tons of new products coming in and tools available for use in the
studio.
We now have a lap top set up with Sure Cuts a Lot.  4 Cricut machines for your use (must purchase a mat),  over 45 cartridges, a Slice machine and a printer if you
need to do some journalling or print a photo or 2 (supplies extra).  We also have a Gypsy for you to try out for yourself.
Have you heard about the new Craftwell machine?  If not then expect to be excited as we have one coming in for you to use in the studio
We just received our first shipment of Pink Cat Studio stamps and love them . I can't wait to play with them and my Copic markers.
We also have over 100 different printed papers from Dream Street Papers -  WOW - these are beautiful and I am trying to get them all listed in the on line store.
We have Basic Grey Sugar Rush and Origins, and just way too many new papers to capture them all in a blog - You must come into the store and see all the new goodies.
We have T Shirts, totes and water bottle coolies coming in printed with some fun scrapbooking quotes arriving in the next week or two.
And now along with the Massage Therapist that you can book on your weekend visit we now have signed up an Esthetician that will do manicures, pedicures and brow waxing
during your weekend stay.  Does it get any better than this?

We are pleased to announce that Younique is offering the Basic Grey 2010 Page-of-the-Month program – you must sign up by January 31st the latest.

 

BasicGrey’s 2010 POTM program is a monthly class kit program where you can create one double-page layout by yourselves every month using the newest papers from BG paired with classic embellishments.

This year’s program will run as follows:

If you would like your POTM shipped to you we will ship two months’ kit products every two months for a flat rate of $5.00 shipping.  Your credit card will be automatically charged when product ships.

 

If you prefer to pick up your POTM you can pick up two months kit products every two months at the studio with no additional charge for shipping.

 

 If you would like to work as a group on your layout we will offer the 4th Wednesday of every month 7:00 to 10:00 to work on the project together. Eg:

First month layout is March so we will run the class on March 24th.  Fee will be $5.00 for the class and you are welcome to stay until 10:00 and work on other projects at the same time

 

There will be samples of each kit displayed in the studio as well as online and you will receive full color copy instructions with each shipment

 

You must sign up for the entire year (program will run from March 2010 to February 2011 at a cost of $20.99 per month + tax.

 

Here is the exciting part of the program:

FREE EXCLUSIVE BasicGrey Designer Album for each of you. You will have a place to put your year’s layouts once you have completed the program. The 12x12 D-Ring album will not be sold to anyone outside of the Page-of-the-Month Program, so it will be a limited-edition collec­tor’s product that only the Page-of-the-Month students will receive!

This album will ship with the last month’s class kits.

 

Only the newest papers and embel­lishments will be used in the kits.

 

New generic themes: instead of scrapbooking about yourself each month, you will have different themes to choose from, with different journaling prompts so that you can scrap about whatever you want—and let your imagination and creativity soar.

Sketches: Basic Grey will include layout sketches for every month.

Simplified, improved full-color instructions: instructions will be easy-to-follow with a large image of the layout for reference.

Techniques: each month, you will learn one new tech­nique to incorporate in your scrapbooking.

I woke up this morning to see the freshly fallen snow. 

There is something about snow and Christmas - you just have to have the 2 of them to put you in the mood.

I only have one problem with it getting cold outside.  I have a mom and 3 baby kittens that have decided to move in on our deck.  Dan said I can't keep them so
it's breaking my heart to see them outside.  I do have an appointment with the Humane Society to bring them in on December 15th but I'm hoping to find a home for
the 2 girls and 1 boy before then.  These are munchkin cats with the short little legs - so cute.

We have guests for the next three weeks and then we are taking a break for Christmas. 

We will be closed over the holidays and hope to see you in the new year.

I am so excited.  Our Tear A Bear supplies have arrived and I think I'm in love.  I can't wait to show all of you what you can do with this super heavy duty Mulberry paper and the bear patterns.  We also have some really cute Christmas Critters as well to show you.

I am just finishing up taking the photos for our upcoming classes and we have lots to offer you.  I know that we have people in our lives that we want to thank at Christmas with a little something and so the Nifty Gifties class will help you find the right price point for the teacher, friend, babysitter, etc.
